DOLWIN6 Offshore Platform is Installed!
Offshore substation platform DOLWIN6 is now successfully installed to its final location at German North Sea by the company's client Dragados Offshore. The commissioning phase will take place from now on and planned to be completed in 2023 when the platform will be in operation afterwards. DOLWIN6 will provide green wind power to >1mill households in EU.
As known, Gemak Group has contributed this major project by fabricating the steel structure blocks of topside module. Topside module became a huge unit of approx. 11.000 ton when fully completed at Dragados Offshore yard and was transferred & installed by the world’s largest service vessel Pioneering Spirit of Allseas.
